This Country squad has some serious firepower and depth across all departments. The Hawke Cup is firmly in sight, and the team looks ready to mount a strong challenge.

• Harry Chamberlain, Archie Redfern, and Jesse Frew are the backbone of the batting lineup. All three can anchor an innings and accelerate when needed.

• Expect Harry to be the aggressor, Archie to bring stability, and Jesse to play the dual role with flair.

• Who will top the run charts? Early signs point to Harry, but Archie’s consistency and Jesse’s versatility make it a tight race.

🧱 Players to Cement Their Spot

• Robbie Foulkes, Tim Petrie, Mackenzie Smith, and Brayden Hill will be eager to make early statements.

• Tim brings leadership and experience, while Robbie and Mackenzie offer youthful energy and adaptability.

🏆 Hawke Cup Ambitions

Canterbury Country were Zone 3 champions last season and narrowly missed reclaiming the Hawke Cup from Taranaki. With this squad, they have every reason to believe they can go one better in 2025/26.
